Responsibilities:
- Develop and determine the whole process of Painting related to process time, and manufacturability for new products and variants accordance to NPI/ISO process and procedure
- Coordinate the planning and implementation of production line preparation with related department i.e. production, QC and Vehicle Engineering and also paint supplier
- Carry out simultaneous engineering activity for new model/variants development
- Coordinate and manage special task/project related to Painting production preparation of new model/variant development as required by management/project manager
- Prepare project/management papers and technical report as required
- Prepare Painting process engineering related documentation for new model/variant development as:
- Painting Operation Chart (POC)
- Tools List
- Indirect Material List
- Process Control Chart
- Method Time Measurement (MTM)
- Prepare documentation management after project implementation, i.e. Hand over report, technical documents filing, and closing reports PQCM
- Coordinate and manage material workability test and actual line trial and process approval.
- Raise PCR (Product Change Request) to designers concerning problems related to design, workability, quality and safety related to Painting line
- To assist Production Painting in resolving problems and issues
- Coordinate Production Painting improvement activity concerning to process, workability, cost reduction and quality productivity for existing model
- Provide training and training materials to production Painting workers on the method prior to online introduction during new model/variants development
- Support KD operations, overseas and locally in term of process engineering related
- Carry out directions/instructions from Senior Management/Board of Directors as per business requirements from time to time
- Possess at least Degree in Automotive/Chemical/Industrial Engineering with minimum 1 years of relevant experience. (Fresh Graduates are encourage to apply)
- Knowledgeable in Automotive and Engineering area
- Possess the skill to influence and communicate with all levels of people in the organization
- Assertive and innovative team player
- Excellent project management skills in roles with extensive people interface
- Ability to network across variety of functions at various levels and countries
- Ability to multitask, highly numerate with attention to detail
